Maintenance of frameless glass pool fence

It is recommended to regularly clean the toughened glass pool fence by hosing down the glass and spigots to remove any airborne dirt that has recently settled on the fence, then by washing the glass and spigots with a few drops of liquid hand washing detergent in half a bucket of warm fresh water with a soft clean abrasive free mop or rag. 2-4 capfuls of detergent into 5 litres of warm water dependent on hardness of water and levels of contamination.

Then hose rinse off with fresh water. Polish dry with a squeegee and with a clean abrasive free rag as required to absorb moisture droplets.

Installers and general maintenance note :

In poor installation environments, protective measures should be taken to prevent the surface of the material against cement splashes from tiling works, or cement rendering debris, work site dust etc which will be corrosive in nature to the CFG material and possibly the glass.

Waterproof or dust proof protection should be wrapped around the CFG parts to prevent erosion from acidic or alkaline liquids and dust.
